A new statue titled “The Orange Plague”, also known as “King of Injustice”, by Danish artist Jens Galschiøt has been unveiled inside the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, where it will remain through 8 October. Remember to stop by for a selfie if you have a chance. 😏📸
This sculpture is a satirical piece titled "[The Orange Plague] created by Danish artist Jens Galschiøt.

The Imagery: The 2.6-meter-tall, gold-plated bronze sculpture depicts a naked, oversized Donald Trump riding on the back of a smaller man. He is holding a golf club in one hand and a pair of scales in the other.

The Meaning: According to Galschiøt, the piece is a satirical commentary on modern political power, climate policy, and the subversion of the rules-based international order.

Recent Exhibition: In October 2026, the statue drew global headlines when it went on public display inside the European Parliament building in Strasbourg, France, organized by Danish MEP Per Clausen.

You may have seen viral posts like this about Elon Musk saving a seven-year-old girl's life via a Neuralink device implanted into her brain. The image in the post is AI-generated and there's zero evidence that this story ever happened. It's pure fiction for online engagement.
When Elon Musk heard about 7-year-old Lily Thompson, a girl battling a rare neurological disorder that left her unable to walk, speak, or even breathe without assistance. She was facing astronomical costs and fading hope, Lily’s family received an unexpected lifeline when Musk personally pledged to cover every penny of her care, including a pioneering surgery that could restore her chance at a normal childhood.

Lily’s condition, a degenerative brain disorder diagnosed at age 3, had defied conventional treatments, leaving her parents desperate as medical bills soared past $2 million. Enter Elon Musk, who, after reading about her plight in a local news story, directed his Musk Foundation to intervene. He not only paid off the family’s debts but funded an experimental procedure at a top California hospital, implanting a Neuralink chip to repair damaged neural connections. “No child should suffer when we have the tools to help,” Musk reportedly told doctors, insisting on fast-tracking the effort to give Lily a fighting chance.

So before you key a random person's Tesla, or set fire to a Tesla dealership, or speak ill of the great Elon Musk. I ask you, what the hell did you do for Lily?

This piece is long but the tldr is that Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and Google Search are fucked and are going to increasingly collapse into AI hellscapes as spammers realize they can repeatedly attack the algorithms with whatever works. Ad industry is brute forcing, SEO is brute forcing
My brute force attack metaphor isn’t perfect, because with a brute force attack, the ones being attacked try to stop what’s happening. In this case, the platforms are both paying spammers to brute force their platforms and increasingly have realized that they themselves can brute force their users with AI-generated ads that they can help companies make and optimize.

In that sense, there isn't even a cat-and-mouse game occurring. Platforms and new types of startup companies aren't trying to stop this spam. They benefit from it, enable it, and worst of all, are finding ways to supercharge it. Brute forcing the algorithms with AI is not just a trick that entrepreneurial teenagers have discovered. The social media giants who themselves make the algorithms that are under attack are not only paying AI spammers to slopify their platforms, they are building tools that will help them spam more profitably. This means that, unlike most security vulnerabilities that are urgently fixed, there is no indication that any help is coming.
