Putin has never said that he will agree to a peace agreement if he gets the rest of Donbas. What Putin has said is that if Ukraine gives him he get the rest of Donbas, then he will be willing to begin negotiations about the rest of Russia's conditions for peace.

Agree, thou.. EUs Council already spoke out in favor of Ukraine. There is a new global power system, but the UK is not big enough alone, but EU is. The new global power system is China, US, EU, India. EU is the defender of freedom & the rules based order, even if we don't send tanks to defend it.

Having the UK join the € would be very beneficial for both. London finance combined with EUs market. Same as Schengen. Instead of focusing on making UK an EU member, UK needs to embrace the benefits of the EU, the € and Schengen is. Thats the conversation they need to have. UK is a middle power
