I’ve been incredibly disappointed learning about this. Assaults like this almost always stem from a power imbalance, and with his large audience and presence online it seems like that imbalance still exists. Especially to your point that he could just come across her algorithm any time.

Yeah. As much as I believe in rehabilitation and second chances, the victim’s feelings and safety comes first. What is going to help her the most? And we don’t know what he’s done to rectify or improve his behavior. As far as we know this is the only accountability shown.
