It's been recommended so tonight I might watch The Last One for the Road (Francesco Sossai, 2025)

Shuten Doji is a test. Getting there. 3 hours and he's half way done in his second stage. Calling it quits at 3.30am #OnimushaWayOfTheSword

Sometimes it's easy to get a little jealous of how much women compliment each other on the regular. Must be a boost. Been lunching/shopping with my Mother and shes complimented half a dozen baristas, waitresses and retail employees with some coming back. All parties full of smiles.

The new Criterion Channel is a big improvement in design. Also, is it my imagination or do films look better than they did before?

GiGi's pizza in Bristol with the work crew. Is this the best pizza in the world? Maybe.

Just surrounded with people with heavy duty colds. Have been for 2 weeks. Finally getting a headache. Balls to them all.

Hellbent on clearing these in time for Gears and then the November onslaught. Looking good, playing every night. (I usually take forever).

First listen in some time to the debut album from Rage on the trip into work. Has me thinking. Which other bands emerged fully formed with their best work the first time? Pearl Jam another.

Just 6 main bosses left and looking at the list it's going to be tough. Wondering if I should be maxing out my skill tree with side missions @streettrash.bsky.social #Onimusha

Funny that when you put in a little more effort to comment on films you get less or no interaction than when you just say 'Film good/bad.' I don't actually care, the reach on here is tiny...no one is randomly searching for posts on 'X' as they did on Twitter. This is mostly somewhere to vent/ramble

Last nights gig took in a new Bristol venue for me (Strange Brew - excellent vibe) and both Actors and headliners She Past Away were great. Mates thought both a bit one note but I could have done another hour. Would recommend this tour.

Actually, he is really easy after a good night's sleep. I think I have the combat loop down.

Hope opens with a gripping, tension-fueled first act and a terrific reveal, immediately establishing great feeling of momentum. Sadly, it cannot sustain that energy. Bloated action sequences overstay their welcome, dragging down a narrative that crashes into a deeply unsatisfying conclusion.

Blooper Team remaking Silent Hill 1, a game I've never played, is a very exciting prospect. I need a Cronos sequel after that.

More on the enshitification of everything. I'm at the point now when opening pdf files that my works laptop requires 4 separate dismissals of pop-ups looking to 'summarise' shit, 'log me into' shit and general make existing less fun

On a more positive note, I'm off to see Hope tonight and I can't wait

I think if Criterion Channel successfully prevents even the use of VPNs (it seems ok right now) that would be the final straw.

Absolute carnage are London Paddington with all the arseholes running in a stampede to get on a train back to Bristol (Which of course makes me an arsehole, having to join in). Total carnage of a day

A total blast and a pitch-perfect nod to Resident Evil. It balances horror, tension, and dark humor without ever devolving into outright comedy. Austin Abrams is the clear MVP, but the visual style, sharp score, and clever, game-like shot framing had a smile on my face throughout #ResidentEvil
