Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 15/08/2026"The Last House" was truly one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. Do yourself a favor and watch anything else! 001
Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 14/08/2026I now believe Spider-Noir is the best Spider-Man because he is the Gen X-est. He even knows our motto. 100

Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 16/07/2026I just noticed it has "Grammar" in quotes. Yeah that's right. You should be sarcastic about your "grammar," Word! 000
Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 16/07/2026I know the world has many more problems, but why does Microsoft Word keep flagging quotation marks in my stories as "extra punctuation" errors? All this stupid planet-killing AI crammed into everything, and they can't teach Word how to format a quote? 100

Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 12/06/2026Everyone in "The Boroughs" is fantastic, but Alfre Woodard and Clarke Peters play off each other so well. They bring a little extra to every scene they share. 000
Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 04/06/2026Since people love "Widow's Bay" (as they should), maybe more people will finally watch the Perry Mason reboot with Matthew Rhys and Stephen Root! It didn't get a ton of attention, but I liked it. (I also love original Perry Mason, though the two shows are really nothing alike except in name). 010
Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 04/06/2026My kids have been obsessed with WowNow since they saw one of their many fish movies (Fishtales) at a sleepover and discovered it was one of the worst movies ever made. Now every time we see one, we have to watch a good chunk of it for comedy. They make liberal use of Pond5 stock media! 000
Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 04/06/2026As a WowNow Entertainment aficionado, I'm sure the premise is "can we trick religious people into thinking this is Finding Nemo, but without woke Disney branding?" They also made "The Funny Life of Pets," A Frozen Christmas," "Space Guardians" and countless other insane, cheap knockoffs! 100

Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 30/05/2026In a quintessential Eastern Shore aside, the flesh-eaten guy mentions that (despite having been attacked by a bacteria that should by rights not be as far north as the Chesapeake Bay) he does not believe in global warming. 010
Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 30/05/2026There's a New Yorker article that starts with a guy getting flesh-eating bacteria right near where I live, so that might be it for me ever swimming at one of the Bay beaches, forever and ever. Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 22/05/2026Widow's Bay on Apple TV is so good! But I'm afraid to love it because I also enjoyed fellow oddball Apple shows The Big Door Prize and Sunny, and those both got canceled. Watch Widow's Bay, people! Please, for my sake! It's excellent. 231

Gwenn @gwenng.bsky.social · 11/05/2026I just watched "Remarkably Bright Creatures," which was as satisfyingly emotional as you'd want from a Sally Field movie, but I was more delighted by 1. Colm Meaney! and 2. Alfred Molina, the funniest typecasting ever. Oh and 3, it was a movie, not stretched into 6 episodes for no reason. 110
