Today at Disneyland you can't visit Don DeFore's Silver Banjo Barbecue, nor can you visit the guerrilla historical marker the DeFore family repeatedly put up in the 2000s. BUT you can still see where that plaque was glued behind the tree!

Unofficial historical marker in Frontierland at Disneyland, reading, "Disneyland Historical Site. On this site from 1957 to 1961 stood Don DeFore's Silver Banjo Barbecue Restaurant-finest barbecue this side of the Mississippi!"

Eating area at Disneyland. The plaque was glued just above where the trunk splits.

Remembering back to when I was part of an All Star meal at VIVO in CityWalk. Here we have Chef Steven Jayson serving @lentesta.bsky.social I believe @guyselga.bsky.social was asking Chef how he would have made Blue Milk for Galaxy’s Edge.

Today's 1-star Amazon review for AI-generated Disney theme park books is "Disneyland Resort Beyond the Postcard" by Francois Durocher. Ignore the front cover, which is clearly not from Disneyland. The intro has a RED TEXT warning about ... shipwreck data.

Two tags on this Disneyland shirt. Is there some weird internal Disney rule that says if a piece of merch mentions Galaxy’s Edge it has to have a SWGE tag?

Maybe the Beck performance after the Imagination announcement was a reference to plans to revisit the ride’s original concept of having two turntables

The D23 line situation is vastly improved this year. Yesterday I should up at 8:45 am and was in the convention center within 20 minutes. Today I showed up at 9:08 and was in by 9:17.
