The absence of Kapanen (and Newhook filling in on the second line) really illustrates why the Habs need a 2C or another top 6 winger. It's not that Newhook is bad there, but that the third line needs Newhook on it. Everyone in their right chair as Marty says.

I have concerns about Bolduc. He can shoot. He can forecheck. But that's where it ends for him. I don't see any signs that he has more to his game (although he's young). Can he be an effective player on this Habs team with a limited skill set? I'm not convinced.

Trump is at it again, escalating the trade war he started with Canada. As I Canadian I wish we'd put a 100% export tax on all oil, electricity and pot ash going into the US (the things Trump won't tariff because the US depends on them). Use that money to support businesses affected by his tariffs.

Just seeing a CNN poll showing the mid-terms are 50/50. How this is not 70%+ for Democrats is beyond me. I'm so done with the US. I feel bad for those who oppose Trump, but there's too many Americans who still support what's going on. It's sickening. Stop all trade with the US! We're done.

I know some Canadian businesses who rely on exports to the US will be hurt by the new tariffs (through decreased sales), but I'm happy we walked away from negotiations. You can't negotiate with Trump. Now, let's place an export tax on the oil, pot ash and electricity we sell them.

I watch a lot of movies from China (kung fu types) and while I prefer the subtitles, a lot are dubbed. Some advice for people dubbing these movies - at least get someone with a Chinese accent to voice the lines in English.

Seeing that Supergirl is going to digital platforms on July 28 and being dropped from theatres due to disappointing box office ratings and all I can think is that people have too high of expectations for a superhero movie. It's far from perfect, but it's a fun movie. Far from DC's worst effort.

The longer we wait for Arber Xhekaj to get a new contract with the Habs, knowing his opportunity on D is very limited, and that the Habs want more size and grit in the bottom six, the more I am on the side of trying him as a fourth line forward, who could play D in the event of an in-game injury.

The more I think about the Habs' top six needs this off-season, the more I lean toward getting another play driving, physical winger rather than a C. Let Kapanen have another year at it, and let's see if Hage is ready to step in at the end of this season or the next one.

Goaltender interference always confounds me. Stankhoven runs into Dobes and that causes him to have to lift his left pad off the ice (or fall over) allowing Hall to swat the puck under the pad. That 100% should have been disallowed. Did the refs think the interference was Hall and only look at him?

If the Habs go down 3-1, I'd use game 5 as an opportunity to play some of the Black Aces (or maybe all of them), plus Gallagher, and I'd start Fowler. Let these guys all get a bit of playoff experience. I know it won't happen, but it would be fun to see. And they'd be a lot fresher.

I can't believe the number of fans turning off the game because it's going to OT. Do you think the shot totals indicate the Canes are going to win? The Habs have had a goal called back because Cole was 1/4" offside, and hit the post. Two "shots" that didn't count. Quality, not quantity.
