THE CLANS HEIR IS A TRANS WOMAN (2013) is like Steven Seagal decided to Write/Direct/Star in a love letter to his trans friends, but it looks and feels like every action movie he's made... except Hitoshi Ozawa is way way way way cooler than Seagal.

I have decided to finally go BEYOND just being a "U.C. Gundam Purist." I am now a "FIRST GUNDAM PURIST." I shall now only accept the 1979 TV series, the '81-'82 movies, the Tomino novels, and Gundam the Origin. Everything else is irrelevant to my interests. Thank you and good day, my friends.

Hell yeah. Although the post makes it sound like it's already done. It's in progress. And if you need to check, here's the official .gov outlining it. www.nyc.gov/mayors-offic...

A post in the WorkReform subreddit
Original poster says :The reason the right are so anti Mamdani is pretty obvious. They don't want you to see what your tax dollars being put to work the right way would actually look like. Then everybody would wa to happen everywhere.
Then they share a tweet that says the following.

NYC Mayor Mamdani converts a city-owned office building into approximately 4,000 new homes, with around 1,000 permanently affordable and rent-stabilised At no cost to the city, the project will nearly double the number of affordable homes built in the area over the last decade

OK! 20 episodes in to the first season of Star Trek (including "The Cage"), 10 to go! It definitely feels like it’s hitting its stride now. I especially liked the most recent episode, where they travel back to the ‘60s. And of course "Arena" is a classic.

The Binary Sunset scene in Star Wars: A New Hope remains one of my favorite cinematic moments. With no dialogue, the sequence captures the feeling of being stuck in a mundane life and yearning for something greater. I can't think of a more perfect clip to celebrate Mark Hamill's 75th birthday! 🎂

I feel like G-Reco is severely underrated. I once asked my high school Shakespeare teacher what his favorite Shakespeare play was, and he said, "Cymbeline." One of Shakespeare's final plays. I mentioned this to my college Shakespeare professor. He nodded slowly and said...

Klim accusing, "You will carry out an emigration to Earth - a Reconguista!"

Y'know, I don't care anymore. I'm not AGAINST a Streep Aslan, but I'm not cheering for it, either. Because I'm tired of right-wingers getting outraged on cue, and making TONS of apoplectic videos about it. More representation is GREAT! And Jesus IS the caring, feminine side of Yahweh... BUT...

Idly thinking about how, in 1999, Mixx got caught outright lying about their subscriber numbers to advertisers.

The e-mail makes allegations of fraud on the part of the Mixx company by the use of the circulation numbers made available to potential and current advertisers. "Mixx is selling Smile ads under the claim of a circulation of 50,000," said the source, indicating the company's one-issue-old magazine for girls. "The total print was 20,000, and a good 12,000 of those were newsstand sales."

The source also takes aim at established Mixx publication Mixxzine, which "claims 100,000-person circulation," but goes onto mention that the August-September issue only made a printing run of 25,000 issues, and 5,000 of those were used as give-aways at AnimeExpo. (It also claims that 5,000 of them were subscriptions, 7,000 was sold through Diamond, and the rest were sold to various news stands.)

Further, the Viz official noted that according to the November issue of Diamond Dialogue, a trade publication that follows comic sales, the 12/98-1/99 issue of Mixxzine (volume 2-3) was rated at number 210, putting it below 9,000 issues sold through the retail distributor.
