A site called FRVR has been publishing a lot of interviews with developers lately. While the site itself is a blog tied to a web game portal FRVR and its CEO appear to be all-in on Gen AI, and are responsible for multiple Gen AI game development apps including FRVR.AI and Upit.

One interesting thing about the Kojima news that is maybe getting overlooked. So far Kojima Productions have been one of the primary third-party users of Decima so this move to Microsoft probably comes with an engine change.

Not quite done with it but South of Midnight is one hell of a game so far. I have plenty of mechanical critiques - but the game is trying to be art. Trying to evoke an emotional response. And in that it WORKS.

Star Wars: Zero Company got its first patch today, don’t know if that indicates anything about whether that studio is going to survive or not. 🤞 It did fix this bug though, which seems kind of important:

Stellar Blade is such an odd thing, the entire presentation of Eve is all about fan service but the actual game and her character it in are entirely divorced from that. It’s almost comically unsexual compared to the design of the outfits.
