* waves from a queer-run makerspace on the other side of the planet * Hey! Just thought I'd say hi and "same hat"... ? 🙂 Thankfully we're a bit less "bus factor 1" but having moved recently, we've definitely felt that that number needs to be higher 😅 Anyway, hope you have a lovely day! 😊

Voting for the other muppets won't change that it's the same fash rich puppeting them all. History tells us what it takes to get the fash out, and it's not voting. All voting in the LNP does is reward the ALP sooner with cushy post-politics jobs. And tells the fash that's it's safe to beat us up.

Well well well... What have we here? A remixed MicroLab design with a larger outer reactor core jar and an easily removable reaction chamber. We're figuring out how to handle alternative designs and forks as we hand off the project. Keep 'em coming!

I bought the game 100% because I'm a big Jamie Paige fangirl, but you know what? The game is pretty rad! You play as a pink-haired anime girl named Beat. Who beats up cops. To the beat. While your companions shred on their instruments 🤘 (Oh, and there's an alien invasion or something.)

RE: mastodon.online/@stimpunks/11703782… This seems a very useful way to organise, maintain, and make broadly accessible institutional knowledge in a durable, succession planning aware way. ("Bus factor 1" meaning "only one person knows/understands something important".)

#AusAlert: seems being disconnected from the network at the time doesn't stop the alert. I had airplane mode on before 2pm, then back off 5 minutes later. The alert went off then. Anyone who had their phone off would have experienced the same, pretty sure. (Good thing I'm not in a DV situation!)

When did "don't harm children" become a controversial statement? If you've got a situation, right, where an easily, safely medicated childhood endocrine condition can cause extreme depression if left untreated and 60% of kids left untreated hurt or kill themselves You do what, prevent treatment?!

It feels like we're living through the end of everything that's good about the world, but it's important that we recognise the propaganda put out to encourage us to see things like that too. If it wasn't necessary it wouldn't be there. Also good is stronger than they are.

Shinji's intense episodes of anxiety, dissociation, and derealisation felt very familiar at the time. (Plus, my Dad was... well, not as bad as Gendo. But in that direction.) I'm of the "we must imagine Shinji happy" camp where she discovers "dress go spinny". So I'm comfortable with the comparison.

I did this as egg me and current me. Egg me? 100% Rei and Shinji. Very egg-coded, and I related to both pretty hard when I first watched Eva. Now? High in Kaworu and Misato. And of those, I genuinely feel Misato is the healthier one. So, err, "the Misato in me recognises the Misato in you?" 😅
