While the women left out of this story ‘wait’ for answers on sexual assault allegations, the bloke made centre of this story ‘can’t wait’ to have it all swept under the rug & be able to hang out with the boys again.

Why are we still funding Australia’s wealthiest schools?
Australia’s wealthiest private schools continue receiving public funding despite mounting budget pressures, raising questions about whether government spending on education reflects need and the broader public interest.

According to the NACC, it’s perfectly normal for investigations to last for years, and result in absolutely no findings. It can take them 2 years or so, just to find nothing.

The NACC explains why they currently have just 2 case workers managing all referrals, despite having more than enough in their budget for more staff. Apparently they’ve been mismanaging their own budget.🤦‍♂️ Does anything function correctly at the NACC? 🙄

Will DV offenders also be put on the National Hate Crimes register, including for non-criminal incidents? In contemporary Australia, misogyny is far more widespread and likely to result in real physical harm than anti-semitism incidents 🧐

A critically important legal precedent has been set regarding what DOESN’T constitute antisemitism in Australia. NSW Supreme Court’s Justice Fagan rejected Jillian Segal’s push for the IHRA antisemitism definition, ruling anti-Israel political speech isn't inherently anti-Jewish bigotry. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Can anyone name the male journalist at the Swans press conference who asked: How serious is the sexual assault alleged? It seems there are degrees of seriousness in these matters. Did anyone get his name, I’d really like to speak to him and his employer. Hoping someone can identify him.

Call it #femicide. It's not about 'men killing women.' That's a causal link. It's not about the psychology of maleness and masculinity. That's a symptom. Noticeably, those factors are all about the perpetrator's behaviour or social role. Call it femicide, because women's lives ending is what it is.
