Macchi C.202 Folgore in the markings of 363 Squadriglia 150 Gruppo 53 Stormo of the Regia Aeronautica in 1/48 scale. Kit was released by Hasegawa in 1995, and it showed at times. First build done for #ItaliaGB #histscalemodels

Finally got Border's 1/35 A6M2b over the line. Enjoyed the step up in detail and complexity that a bigger scale brings, but I haven't really done her justice. Having to destroy a week's work on the engine so that it actually fitted sucked the joy out. #histscalemodels

Sometimes I just want to glue things together. A break from the Border Zero, a "Superior" kit from Matchbox. No paint, just assembly. It was useful in teaching me to be more precise with removal from the sprue and applying the cement as I didn't want to mar the glossy sheen.
