London trip...what was it for? A proud brother moment. My sister was invested as a Member of the Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem. Over 30 years of voluntary service and leadership duties of the youth section. Well done Jackie.

The Bulgarian MiG 17 was likely a colourful gate guardian so not camouflage per se. The Ki-61 Tony works well over Pacific Islands. No idea about the MiG-15 or the A6M2.

Brush. Light brown all over. AK plastic putty to create the "holes", then the green, then the dark brown in the holes.

Looked at the instructions on Scalemates. They looked very familiar. It would appear that the Veltro is essentially a Folgore with a different engine. As much as I enjoyed that build, I am not going to repeat in such short order. May still buy it at close of play if the price is still good.

The Tauro kit has pretty weird instructions which is bad enough. Reviews are terrible, bad fit, extremely soft plastic etc. Not going to burn time on that (yeh...quitter). There is a bargain to be had on ebay for the Hasegawa kit.

Macchi C.202 Folgore in the markings of 363 Squadriglia 150 Gruppo 53 Stormo of the Regia Aeronautica in 1/48 scale. Kit was released by Hasegawa in 1995, and it showed at times. First build done for #ItaliaGB #histscalemodels
