El viernes 17 de julio, Mario Padial habló sobre cómo elaborar de mapas históricos de usos y cubiertas del suelo a partir de imágenes Landsat MSS y TM mediante su trabajo reconstruyendo la cartografía histórica de Catalunya entre 1977 y 1982 a partir de las primeras misiones Landsat. 🛰️

🚀 Al día siguiente, Xavier Pons presentó los primeros resultados obtenidos a partir de los datos del proyecto LidarTeam y su potencial para estudiar tanto los entornos urbanos como los ecosistemas.

Finally, we also presented "Validation of SWAT+ Hydrological Model Using Remote Sensing-Based Evapotranspiration Data". This work has been developed within Essmat Abdelalim Abdelaziz Mohamed's final master's project along with researchers Amanda Batlle, Miquel Ninyerola and Lluís Pesquer.

The team also presented the paper "LidarTeam: a remote sensing driven method for massive lidar data to regional DHM refined through user feedback". The work describes an innovative methodology for the massive processing of #LiDAR data to generate high-quality regional digital height models.

One of the highlighted activities has been the course "Climate Surface Modelling with Remote and In-Situ Data", taught by Lluís Pesquer, Miquel Ninyerola and Xavier Pons. The methodologies presented showed how the combination of both sources allows more precise and useful estimates!
