Yandex is a search engine. It uses bots to index websites and pages. I think people are assuming that bots are always malicious. 98.7% of google search traffic is also bots. That's how search engines work.

This doesn't prove what the OP says, or particularly support it. Yandex is primarily a search engine. It will legitimately have lots of bots doing things like indexing web pages. The same search for Google (AS15169) shows 98.7% of traffic is bots. Not sure how the AfD is supposed to be connected.

Lots of things are big if true. How do we know this is true? Hate to be that guy but a post on x is not of itself a remotely reliable source of information. Where does the data come from?

What is the credible source here?

It's not proof. It might be evidence if there was a citation. It seems plausible but it's literally just a graph posted on x with no references.

I said that because you seem to be claiming that Labour isn't responsible for the EHRC's transphobia. Maybe I've misunderstood and you do acknowledge that Labour is responsible?

We will look back in the future on Israel's domestic political and media allies in the same way we look back on those sycophantic supporters of Rhodesia and Apartheid South Africa today: as creeps, losers and deniers. It's only a matter of time.

Aside from anything else: this is Camilla Long in the Sunday Times asking the public to imagine the ludicrous, would-never-happen scenario that is “the racist far right is welcomed into the heart of mainstream politics and treated as legit by the British press”. Gee whizz, can you imagine

Your regular reminder that my daughter Alice’s death wasn’t counted in Appleby’s report, despite her meeting all the criteria. And when I emailed the Tavistock adult GIC to inform them they could take Alice off the waitlist, because she’d died by suicide, they never replied. It’s a disgrace.

It's supported by Labour, and led by someone Labour appointed against the recommendation of a two cross party committees. It could barely be more Labour. What did you mean by "the EHRC aren't Labour"? It read a lot like you're trying to defend Labour.

My point was simply that Labour bears responsibility for the transphobic EHRC. Sole responsibility.

gruffthedog.bsky.social @gruffthedog.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
The Labour government appointed Stephenson, a transphobe, as the EHRC chair, despite two select committees rejecting her. On what planet does Labour bear no responsiblity for the EHRC's actions under her leadership? Shame on you for defending this and pretending that you actually care.

Very telling that they lead with that line though isn't it, rather than the fact that England's health secretary is wrong in his belief that it is currently over-diagnosed.

A fascinating editorial decision from the BBC, to make the headline a scaremongering “AUTISM AND ADHD ARE BEING OVERDIAGNOSED”, and then, four bullet points later, have the author of the report quoted as essentially saying “nah, that’s bullshit, actually”.
ADHD and autism at risk of over-diagnosis, says report, as author warns of rise in mental ill health
Summary
• An official review in England finds there is a risk of people being over-diagnosed with
ADHD and autism - three key findings from the report
• As well as neurodevelopmental conditions, the review looks at mental ill health, particularly in younger people. Our health correspondent explains the difference
• It was commissioned earlier this year after Wes Streeting, then the health secretary, said there was an "over-diagnosis" of mental health conditions
• Speaking to Radio 4's Today programme earlier, review chair Prof Peter Fonagy said Streeting was "with respect, completely wrong"

I would say that massively increasing their vote share and polling is the route. Actually having MPs is essential. Simply focusing on environmental issues would disasterous, given that they tried that and it gave them one single MP in 30 years.

Not by the laughably contrived, absolutely barking mad metric of adding an independent's vote share to their 2024 tally. People will literally say any old shit to attack the greens.

Love the bit in the Guardian that claims that if you inexplicably add an independent candidate's votes to the Greens' tally from 2024 then they didn't do very well this time actually. Total nonsense dressed up as insightful analysis. An insult to their readers' intelligence.

gruffthedog.bsky.social @gruffthedog.bsky.social · 09/10/2026
Guardian is saying that the Greens can't claim their vote increased by 22 percentage points from 2024 because if you include the votes for Andrew Feinstein, a former Labour candidate who stood as an independent, in the Greens 2024 total then it only increased by 3 points. Desperate stuff. Bizzare.

The greens shouldn't support trans rights because people will interpret it as supporting child abuse. We shouldn't support gay marriage because people will interpret it as a threat to family life. You're making an absurd argument and you know it.

gruffthedog.bsky.social @gruffthedog.bsky.social · 08/10/2026
You said "it could be interpreted as supporting the ethnic cleansing of Israel" without having read it. Now you're saying it doesn't matter what it said because people will choose to misrepresent it anyway. I could say the same thing about any law or motion you've ever supported. It's nonsense.

Centrists argue that Greens should go back to being purely environmentist, because they had a soft spot for them when they had <1% of the vote. Now they're maybe up to 10%, centrists attack them on the pretence that what they're doing will lose them votes. They can't have it both ways.

gruffthedog.bsky.social @gruffthedog.bsky.social · 08/10/2026
It's weird. He claims it "could be interpreted as supporting the ethnic cleansing of Israel" but it could not genuinely be interpreted that way. It's virtue-signalling. He and others want to be seen as reasonable without reasoning. The desire to appear to be moderate causes them to be immoderate.

You're talking about Labour here. The party of the Labour Friends of Israel, with Luke Akehurston its executive committee. The party that prioritised falsely smearing its own leader as an antisemite over winning an election. I think you're being very naive.

i know a lot of people really, really want gaza to be a two-sides issue that maps cleanly onto US electoral politics, but it isn't. the mainstream of both parties supports the genocide, because the US as an institution supports the genocide. i know that's uncomfortable but you can't run away from it

Israel's borders have famously not been accepted under international law. What happens to the 7m Israelis? Well, it's not my plan but it clearly doesn't involve ethnic cleansing, starvation, razing almost every single one of their buildings to the ground or removing their right to vote.
