Sure, but the problem is that more and more podcasts are starting to include visual cues like “hey look at this clip!” And then you can’t see what they’re looking at. The scripts need to be written for audio only

Agreed, and would specify “action” or “comedy” as the genres where women-led films get the most hate. Doesn’t mean you can’t have an opinion about casting choices, if you don’t like one… it just means you should really think about WHY you don’t like it. Misogyny is deeply ingrained in our psyche.
