I will never forget the eeriness of reading ‘The Exorcist’ by William Peter Blatty the week of law school orientation in an unfurnished apartment. I purposely left the lights off and read the book in the middle of the living room, with a flashlight. It was awesome. But I wouldn’t do it again.

Today I went to the library and checked out four books (two novels and two short story collections). I went to the park, sat on a bench, and finished one short story collection early in the evening. I do not regret this one bit. Maybe I should do this once a week or something.
