We loved this description of our festival. As we take a breather to find our new home, here’s to making sure Greenbelt happens next year “wherever the hell we are”.

For this year’s film, we wanted to capture how we feel about the festival we love and Boughton’s embrace over 12 years. New experiments await in 2027, then a new home. But first, we hold space for the ache of goodbye. Take it high, take it far, take it home. www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFxK...

Want to scratch your Greenbelt-inspired activist itch? Then listen to Clare. We're teaming up with her campaign charity Operation Noah for an event in London in November – food for thought and action if you care about how faith, politics and care for the planet intersect.

We planted Dave (the red oak tree) at Boughton after Communion this year - a thank you to the beautiful home we have loved for 12 years, and to Dave Cullum (the parkland manager) who we love very much too. So much so that we named the tree after him. Enjoy the photo of the two Daves, united.

Between the Fields is the name we’re giving to this next interim phase for our festival, as we finalise our search for a new home. During the next year there’ll be plenty of ways to get together, other festivals to enjoy, plenty to read and listen to, as we plot our full-on festival return in 2028.

A regrettably shortened weekend at @greenbeltfestival.bsky.social (note to self: either learn to mudsurf or buy wellies for 2028!) but a beautiful one nonetheless. Let It All Go the theme — so we let go of rigid schedules, clean footwear, and FOMO. Wouldn’t have been anywhere else with my pals.

Time to let it all go. Next Sunday at Greenbelt, we’ll gather for communion. Bring your hopes. Your doubts. Your whole messy, wonderful self. And together, for a little while, we’ll let it all go, remembering that we don’t have to carry everything ourselves.
Two women stand at a podium on an outdoor stage, facing a large crowd. The event takes place in a park with many trees and tents visible in the background under a partly cloudy sky.A young person with short red hair holds a small object, while another persons hands offer something. They sit on grass among others, one wearing a red shirt. The scene feels relaxed and communal.A young child with curly hair holds a yellow inflatable giraffe toy in a crowded outdoor setting, wearing a striped sweater and looking ahead with a smile.

Picture this. Just one week today and we’ll be gathering together for another Greenbelt. Thursday will be full of arrivals, pitch-ups, catch-ups and then a whole night of music in The Canopy, and reunions in the fields and campsite and Jesus Arms all evening.
A woman in a yellow dress leaps mid-air with arms outstretched and mouth open, surrounded by green trees and leaves, against a cloudy sky.A large, cheerful crowd gathered outdoors at a festival, many smiling and waving. Bright banners and a food stand reading LOLAS Fish & Chips are visible in the background. Trees and more people fill the scene.A musician in patterned clothing performs on stage, singing into a microphone while holding drumsticks above their head with both hands; blue and yellow stage lights illuminate the scene. Two tall figures in glowing, reflective costumes with illuminated faces stand surrounded by a crowd at night. Tubes of light drape from the costumes, creating a futuristic and captivating display.
