Found this provocative pulp cover on Heritage’s auction site and was struck by two things- the bad guys always seemed to wear the rubber chemical suits as that was likely exotic wear in 1939. The other thing was the blatant nudity for a newsstand pulp magazine. Anyhow, the artist in me likes it!

Another way to say this is: Donald Trump won lots of voters who had previously voted for Barack Obama. He did so not by thinking about what Obama offered and how he could be 50% or 70% or 110% of Obama. He did this by thinking about what those voters wanted that Obama WASN’T giving them.

The House Azure.
A scene inspired by Gene Wolfe's The Book of the New Sun. An ornate building with a second floor facade supported by Caryatids is standing after much snow has fallen. Deep blue motifs are all around the facade, and a strange figure in a yellow robe is seen opening the sun-blazoned door.

I had this idea from reading the elizabeth holmes mouse post and then I couldn't do anything else until i painted the idea to completion
It is a cartoon mouse, like Jerry from Tom and Jerry, shaped like a wedge of cheese presumably because it has eaten a wedge of cheese. The mouse has Elizabeth Holmes' face. The mouse is saying "Why would I deceive you? There's no reason for me to do that."Nathan Fielder, looking into a fridge where the mouse has eaten a cheese, says skeptically "Okay. Alright."

If you see this, QRP your green art 🍀
"Sojourn". This artwork is inspired by "Picnic at Hanging Rock". The artwork shows a ruin with young women sitting and standing around it. There are two teachers among them. They are skeletons. One is holding a chihuahua and another one is reading a book. The young women participate in different activities such as reading books, drawing, sharing secrets with each other, playing flute and admiring the surroundings. There are two dogs in the foreground and a bird that one of the characters is drawing. There are trees in the background and some rock formations. Two young women are walking towards the rocks. The artwork is mostly green and brown with some white and light blue accents. The artwork is a cover for the upcoming TTRPG "The God's Favorites" by Joie Yong. The image shows a scene with a garden, animals, a woman holding a bow and some ruins in the background. On the left side, there's a deer with golden antlers laying on the ground surrounded by green plants and large flowers. On the right side, there's a woman (inspired by Artemis) holding a bow aiming upwards. She wears a long blue dress, a green decorated robe and has long curling black hair. There's a unicorn behind her looking down and a heron is standing on her shoulder. There's a large turtle hidden in the plants around the woman. In the middle ground, there's a river and a green serpent swims in the water with it's body forming arches. There are sunken buildings in the background and a heron is sitting on one of the roofs. A large pink dragon is cascading in the sky behind the ruins. The artwork is decorated with a frame and the frame has a large tree in the center with a peach-colored snake coiling around the tree. The artwork is colorful with some dark-blue accents and much greenery. Commission for Ed Niedermeyer and autonocast. The artwork shows a scene with a city and an autonomous bus in the center. There are passengers in the bus. Some are sitting and some are standing. The bus has dome-shaped roofs. A man in a long coat is standing outside the bus holding a briefcase. Another man is selling some fake or stolen watch behind the bus. There are buildings and bridges in the background with a few more characters. All the characters are skeletons. There are some autonomous mini cars around the artwork. The artwork is densely decorated with patterns and tiles. It is mostly green, mustard, red and blue. The artwork is a cover for the upcoming TTRPG "The God's Favorites" by Joie Yong. This piece mirrors many of my own worries and misgivings about neo-Vertigo, and indeed DC's current success in general, but also why is everyone almost universally acting like this is the first attempt to bring Vertigo back since the original one? Did we just forget about the 2015 one?
