It is so easy to tunnel vision on making, forgetting that the artists and writers that you admire developed their skill and crucial aesthetic sensibilities by consuming and thinking about media.

Reminds me of session one of Tomb of the Serpent King. Two players, a couple irl, nodded to each other, and triggered the first door trap. One miraculously survived, the other was turned into paste. Hilariously, his trinket was a gem that reforms when shattered, discovered on the next visit.

Today’s Gravy: Did a ton of really hard work on the tangle map for Pipesong. I’d made a cool map, but realized that it wasn’t going to support the layout the way I wanted. I made some extensive revisions to the map layout, and grouped a bunch of locations into sub-nodes. I’ll share it tomorrow

The hive is an enclave of cooperative criminals hidden in the mazelike interstitial space within the outer hull plates of Prospero's Dream

The connective paths in the tangle point crawl represent the primary pipes that connect 04 Deck's infrastructure to the rest of Prospero's Dream
