Among the layoffs was character artist Christiane Meister — a 27-year veteran of Bethesda and (as far as I can tell) one of the longest tenured women in games, period. She worked on Argonians + Khajiit in TES3, horses in TES4 and TES5, Fallout creatures, and more. (cont'd)

Finished up homework 4 of Chris Bohm's houdini course (houdini-course.com). This one stumped mea little, I had the right ideas to create the group of points on top, but I couldn't figure out the extrusion and make it look good so I cheated a little and looked at his video explanation

Homework #5 of Chris Bohm's Houdini Course (houdini-course.com) to recreate halftones turned out pretty simple and I managed it completely on my own without looking anything up, so I'm proud of it 💪 Not very flashy, but I used a frame from my fave movie Hara-kiri since it works best with b&w images

Finished the voxelizer tool homework on Chris Bohm's Houdini course (www.houdini-course.com). Happy with the result, and having fun with it! Next steps: remove points inside the mesh and transfer UV and material attributes from the original mesh to make it game ready 🎮

Played pokemon yellow at age 7 and wanted to "program" video games. Then read lots of manga as a teenager & drew fanart. When entering game dev school, went for art rather than programming. I had fun redrawing one of my first character concepts done in game art school over a decade ago! I definitely learned a lot, even though I mainly practiced 3D over these 10 yrs.
