oh btw i finished bloodlines 2 finally. it was good! a bloodlines sequel it was not. damsel's cameo was confusing & vaguely disappointing at best. i do like fabien a whole lot though.

If you think an artist's style looks like AI but you can scroll back through their portfolio and see them doing the same work before 2020, congrats, you're not looking at an AI grifter. You're looking at one of the original victims whose entire style AI stole.

notes app-style statement since bsky's character limit would make this like a 30 post thread. hope this explains a little better. see y'all around ❤️

Okay, one last try because it's not sitting well that people think I'm trying to attack or belittle someone for being upset. I did delete the posts after some reflection, since I can understand why people would think I'm siding with the moderators when I'm not at all. I'm coming at this as someone who is fat, isn't white, and works alongside a lot of content moderation stuff. The tos itself was restrictive before the update, I can see how a moderator would have come to the image removal conclusion based on that. It's not fair, it's not right, and I didn't know rphub was lax about certain things like nazi symbolism because of the very literal interpretation of the rules (I also don't rp and I don't use the plugin, this was the most discussion I've seen.) Before that topic came up, I was also posting more general about my frustration about some users (mostly on bsky) not tagging their nsfw properly so the nsfw filter can be used, and that overlapped into the rphub stuff. I'm not sure if the person will see this, but for what it's worth, I'm sorry that my frustration got read as being cruel and targeted when it really wasn't. I keep my dms open, and I wish someone had just approached there or even replied. No one is required to but it might have made things more clear earlier. (I'm not making excuses I just like to include explanations with apologies because that's something I prefer to have, I thought it might be an appreciated thing because of that). Intent doesn't minimize impact, of course, and I get why people are mad after looking into it after the fact (which would have made sense to do before, hindsight), but I am genuinely sorry.

Anyway, if this seems stiff or awkward, I'm really trying to make sure this one comes across right. I'm probably going to take a bit of a break, since I'm getting racist anons on tumblr about this and even though I was pretty worked up last night, I don't think that's the response to make when someone had a bad take on a situation.

Andromeda and Hythlodaeus stand in beach wear. Andromeda has a hand on her hip and she grins as she asks, "Surely our big, tough, powerful lover isn't scared of a little water ride?" Hythlodaeus is laughing a little as she says this.

Hades leans forward, arms crossed, as he says, "I am not scared of anything. I was simply weighing our options."

His partners laugh at this.

Title card with the slides in the background that says "A few moments later..."

Hythlodaeus, Hades, and Azem are going down the purple slide. Azem and Hyth are laughing, while Hades is desperately clinging to Azem with a startled look on his face.
