Mr. Musk’s team has also taken on a range of roles, including I.T. staff members and detectives. Mr. Trump has said that Mr. Musk’s job includes carrying out his executive orders. And so Mr. Musk has tried to deploy his engineers to find ways to turn off the flow of money from the Treasury Department to things that Mr. Trump wants to defund.

The company’s name is now just “British”
Once an icon of the 20th century seen as obsolete in the 21st, Encyclopaedia Britannica-now known as just Britannica— is all in on artificial intelligence, and may soon go public at a valuation of nearly $1 billion, according to the New York Times.

Bosses Are Retaliating Against Workers for Showing Solidarity With Palestinians
Workers are losing their jobs and professional opportunities for expressing pro-Palestinian sentiment. Others are choosing to self-censor amid a climate of fear.

This kind of thing should be illegal. Anduril, a company run by a Peter Thiel consigliere, which only exists at the mercy of Thiel’s money, can announce that it’s worth $12.5 billion, a number Thiel himself essentially pulled out of a hat to bolster his investments:
Screenshot of an article from The Information showing that Thiel’s Founders Fund is investing $1.5 billion into Anduril, which allows it to say it’s worth $12.5 billion.

Guy waited five years and paid $102k for a Cybertruck, crashed it after four hours of driving, only for Tesla to tell him that "the accelerator may not disengage under braking" and that it will take $30k and one year to repair. Truly an L of historical proportions. www.reddit.com/r/RealTesla/...
Post with a pic of a crashed Cybertruck with the following caption: "Waited 5yrs and drove for 4hrs. Need Tesla to take some responsibility. 'We have reviewed the logs and due to the terrain the accelerator may or may not disengage when the brake is depressed. As far as thr back tires locking up, see are reviewing.'"

It's not harmless. It's not "just an innocent thing" to be fooled by AI. You NEED to be able to discern and differentiate reality. You NEED to know how the world works on a basic level. Because fooling you with baby animals and flowers is just the start of something much worse.

The ironic thing is that none of these AI midwits would *ever* actually use an AI program to diagnose a medical condition. They have the money and resources to see a real doctor and receive treatment. The thought wouldn’t even cross their minds. AI is for the poor to impale themselves on.

Not only was it always price gouging, but the excuse these greedy subhumans gave for price gouging—to combat “inflation”—was a problem they themselves created. Prices don’t magically increase themselves! These people invented nonexistent inflation just to justify combating inflation.

It coincides with the decline of Google Search. As search results got replaced by ads and SEO garbage, something like ChatGPT, which is more or less an overpowered search engine, appears to curate the information you once would’ve searched for but now need 10 minutes of drudgery on Google to find.

Can’t even fathom the reaction if any other country had done this. If it had been Iran or China, there would be universal opprobrium from the West. But can you imagine if like Belgium or Spain had killed 191 UN staffers? How surreal it would seem? Why does it seem so normal for Israel to do it?
