My brother is a sanitation worker and has been since his 20's. It's an essential job and he'll be able to retire in about 10yrs with full benefits & salary. But. He's had a LOT of injuries, back & shoulder issues, and two heart attacks last year at the age of 46 due to multiple Covid infections.
