A beautiful initiative in Aarhus, Denmark shared by @CiaraNi@mastodon.green over on Mastodon. They say: "The Pssst Postbox. You post a note about something hopeful for the world. Once a week, a local theatre group collects the post and records the messages. #Hope

Short version: a wooden postbox outdoors. Fuller description: A light-brown wooden postbox on a pavement area. Behind it, a city building with glass arch, a tree, a bench, bikes parked in bike stands. Sky overcast. Above the postbox, a sign saying Pssst. On the postbox above the flap, an illustration of an ear with soundwaves showing it listening to something. On the flap, the words Lift and Listen. Written below, a description of the project as roughly translated and summed up by me in the toot, and credits for the various groups involved. This is in Aarhus, Denmark. The postbox was in concert hall park recently, I think it moves around.

Well this is interesting. I was riding down the Betty Sutherland Trail (headed to Iqbal Foods near Fairview). Ran into a couple of people *coming out* from behind the fence under the 401. They said it's walkable / hike-a-bikeable. I was on a grocery trip so I didn't check but has anyone seen it?

Went to pick up my bike yesterday downtown on Parliament. College is a mess so thought "What the heck" and grabbed a bikeshare and tried an ebike. That was pretty cool! I love my acoustic but for non-sweaty commutes and speedy travel they're great. (Sadly the shop was closed for the holiday.)

Heads-up to cyclists in Taylor creek, one of the bridges in closed due to storm damage. You can go around on the the path that goes through the creek if you can deal with a few inches of water, otherwise it's a bit of a hassle to get around.
