My second made to measure, a #CameronButtonUp for @gooutsidetoday.com! My favourite part is the SECRET SPIDERS dotted throughout the harlequin pattern (see second photo). Fabric: "Enshadow" by Katarina Roccella #SewAndTell #SewSky #Sewing #Sewer #Sew #MeMade #GarmentSewing
Man stands next to a bookshelf with art hanging above it. He's in a densely patterned short sleeve shirt with black buttons, and has octagon glasses.Close up of the fabric in the shirt, a harlequin pattern made up of black, pink, orange, white, and gray. There are tiny gray spiders scattered throughout.

Yesterday I went riding in THE FOREST #Toronto #Cycling
A person stands astride a lavender bike with a wire basket on the front in the midst of a forest on an asphalt path. The person is wearing a blue helmet, blue pants, and a black and yellow shirt. In the far distance a person is walking a small dog.

EEEE I HAVE A BIKE -- I loved riding yesterday so much I found a used bike and snatched it up. Other than wishing it was blue or yellow, it is PERFECT (zero interest in speed, 100% interest in comfort) and I've already had a wonderful time riding it.

Recently instead of using my phone: * Made it to 35k (only 45k to go) on my novel. * Drew a bison, balloons, and a crow. * Learned more about colour theory. * Walked under bright blue skies. * Lay on the couch, listened to John Coltrane, read and read and read and read and read.

I think the most “adult who was in a gifted and talented program as a kid” thing I could have done to myself was become an author. Just giving myself endless homework and a need for people to be proud of me forever.

Just finished A Quantum Love Story by @mikechenwriter.bsky.social and absolutely loved it. Mike Chen did a fantastic job writing from a woman's point of view, and I really enjoyed the unexpected second half. Time travel! Kindness! Loops! SCIENCE! Highly recommend it.
Cover of the book A Quantum Love Story by Mike Chen, which features line drawings of a cat, a donut, etc. as well as two people walking on a red line towards each other.
