This may be mentioning language use in the American context, but I believe we need to start finding a new, positive narrative where we are protectors of each other, and this earth we live on - not protestors, but Protectors. We need to find a good new story we can all get behind for change.

hi Everyone -- Want to make a suggestion about wording that is taken straight out of the indigenous Hawaiian's activist playbook, ie: that we refuse to use the word "protestor" when referring to our activities and activism (particularly when talking to the press). The indigenous Hawaiians realized a long time ago that words matter and the word "protestor" is triggering in the American context so they now insist on being referred to as "protectors" not "protestors" and will immediately correct anyone who says otherwise. I want to suggest we emulated this because we are not "protestors for American Democracy" but "Protectors OF American Democracy". It takes a critical mass of people to do this but once accomplished,it changes the entire dialogue and perspective in our favour.

This is exhausting because this has been investigated and there is no link. None. People just assume vaccines cause autism because signs of autism only become noticeable around the time children get MMR vaccines. That's it! It's people making a connection that isn't there! It's GENETIC

I can tell a patient is autistic because you ask what their pain is from 1-10 while they're in excruciating pain from kidney stones and they're like "this is entirely subjective, how would I even know what a 10 feels like if I've never experienced it?" and every neurotypical person just tells you 11

Autism is not a disease that needs to be cured. And to address the rise in diagnosis, maybe we have studied more and are able to better take care of people who have special needs. Neither RFK Jr. or 'Dr. Oz' know anything about actual medical procedures or how modern medicine works.
