If you’d told me that an ensemble play about <checks notes> the climate change talks in the 90s would make me laugh, cry + eventually root for John Prescott, I’d have laughed in derision. Yet here we are. Kyoto at @sohoplace. Totally engrossing, funny, cynical, slick, + so cleverly staged. Bravo.

I finally saw the theatre play ‘Kyoto’ tonight in London. I didn’t think a play about the 1997 Kyoto Protocol climate negotiations would make for good, non-didactic drama but they pulled it off! It was moving. (play COP badges for audience members, the stage design) More: sohoplace.org/shows/kyoto
