I really want to participate in Star Trek fandom on this site but "name your favorite character" stuff would get me blocked for admitting that, at the end of the day, my favorite show is still ST Enterprise

I can only speak for myself and how I manage my own social media. Like what you like and dislike what you dont. it crosses a line when you actively bash someone else's enjoyment. Tapping the sign: Hate Has No Home Here. 🖖🏻

Captain Kirk found 47 tribbles on his ship. He blinked, and there were many more of them. Captain Kirk’s science officer, Spock, calculated that the tribble growth rate was 50%. Write a function showing the tribble growth, and let Kirk and Spock know how many tribbles there will be in 10 days.

In Star Trek people often complain that replicated food is not as good as naturally produced food, which is weird when replicators are presumably using the same technology as transporters, which can perfectly replicate Spock every time. But is Spock getting less flavoursome over time? In this essay,

I always thought that it should be a thing where they just keep adding time travelers to "The Trouble With Tribbles" until the whole station is pretty much just time travelers.

lower decker astra 🖖🏼 @goodboyporthos.bsky.social · 12/08/2026

we should’ve had a lower decks episode where they end up traveling back to the set of every single other series. they did the SNW crossover but it would be funny for them to get sick of time travel “don’t tell me. archer’s enterprise?” “yup.” “alright, how are we gonna get home this time?”

If someone doesn’t know about Star Trek they probably assume the Riker maneuver is a spaceship thing. If someone knows a lot about Star Trek they know Frakes is huge and had back trouble, but anyone who is a moderate Star Trek fan has to hear Riker maneuver and assume it means nudity
