September is National Library Card Sign-up Month. Libraries need our support now more than ever. You should get a card. They get money & you save money. I've already saved over $1700 this year alone by using my library cards to check out physical books, audiobooks, ebooks, CDs, DVDs, & board games.

I can't believe 25 years have gone by since I took this picture on Sept 10, 2001. (in a taxi thinking, "I'll have to go in on my next visit.") overwhelming feeling of a national loss with a very personal feeling of a close call. it was horrifying. There's no other word. & so much changed thereafter.

On Thursday I took a road trip to Pittsburgh, PA to play the game Breakneck Derby Classic with the designer of the game himself! It was a ton of fun & I ended up buying a second, deluxe copy of the game. It is now my favorite of my horse race board game collection so far (15 games and counting! 😀).
