When @goji-guy.bsky.social first told me about Dungeon Lurker last year, the concept really resonated with me. I’d had a similar experience rediscovering my late father’s old Zelda save files – and it was a sad but strangely comforting experience to visit with the version of the game he’d played.

Way way back when we made Runbow, we build the single player adventure mode as a grid, with players able to "carve" their own path through the game. This meant the levels could be experienced in *almost* any order. It was designed to be a olive branch between low and high skill players (cont'd)
