Il criterio del buon vicino è perseguito da sempre dai bibliotecari, non solo da Warburg. Interessante la vicinanza verticale che permette una seconda dimensione, ma le relazioni possibili sono in n dimensioni e il modo di esprimerle sugli scaffali è stato trovato da Ranganathan. #KO

Good ! My understanding of _modules_ is that they belong to a limited repertoire of repeatable parts (e.g. aminoacids, nucleotids, neurons, phonemes...), while parts of a different nature I prefer to call _organs_ in my informational ontology (gnoli.eu/ontoinfo.pdf)

Coming to the end of the brilliant #ISKO2026 conference hosted by Brazilian colleagues in São Paulo. Thiago Barros (Federal Univ. of Rio Grande do Sul) hands over the presidency of ISKO to Lu An (Wuhan University). Next biennial conference ISKO 2028 will be in Coimbra, Portugal.
