I watched ‘Body Positivity’ get taken from the black, indigenous, queer, disabled, size 20+ community. I watched it get commercialized & reupholstered for mid-sized white girls. I watched the words lose their power & meaning. I tried to explain & educate but it wasn’t enough. We have to gatekeep.
