Open access policies in EU Member States and beyond - Publications Office of the EU
The objective of the publication is to provide an up-todate account of open access policies in all EU Member States and select third countries (e.g. UK, USA, China, Japan). The added value is that the up-to-date account will provide the Commission and external readers with current and accurate knowledge of an important component of open science, that is open access to scientific publications, In addition, the intelligence from the report is fed into the work carried out in view of the European Research Area Act proposal. The publication addresses an aspect of research in Europe.
