Would it be possible to broadcast/record/ The Traitors in such a manner that the audience also wouldn't know who is a traitor? It's almost too easy to watch it knowing all the ins and outs

So the player insurance for a 12 year old girl who is a dual player is around 4 times the cost of the player insurance for an Adult Male player be they dual or not.

The lack of community centres in Dublin is such a basic issue. Very few spaces for people to gather for free/at low cost.

Greek style statue on the roof top of a yellow building in Dublin city centre - statie possibly depicts person throwing a stone, possibly David (?)

In rural Ireland, early 1990s maybe, you could rent "pirated" VHS tapes from the boot of a guy's car that operated like a mobile library.

I'm attending a digital humanities event in Montreal. There was a keynote on AI and something about the talk made me wonder if it had been written by Claude. I said as much in the Q&A. As I posed the question, the speaker shifted, looking slightly uncomfortable. What he said next shocked the room +

As I walked away, I had another funny feeling. What if this "book" and his entire "experiment" is funded by an AI company? This is exactly the kind of "scholarship" tech bro overlords want -- influential academics, preferably men, telling the rest of us that we are now useless in the age of AI.

I however found this comment, which was a rare opposition and conveys a hard and rather more realistic account of the long term effects of cars on rural Ireland, and is a well written example that parallels my own feelings on the changes brought by car dependency in the place where I grew up.
Darren McAdam-o'connell
What utter nonsense, it is the car that is the greatest enemy of rural Ireland, it is the car that has led to the collapse in rural services, and social isolation. In the 1950s and 60s everyone in rural Ireland lived within walking distance of a shop, a pub, a church, a school, a post office, a creamery, everything they needed to live their everyday life. They only needed to visit a city or large town once or twice a month or maybe even less often. People lived in their local communities. People walked the roads and stopped to talk to their neighbors. Then more people started getting cars driving past the local shop, pub and Post Office driving dangerously and too fast. Until the shop pub and finaly post office closed and it was unsafe to walk the roads. Ireland almost uniquely globally has not seen significant rural depopulation, over the last 50 years, in fact vast areas of rural Ireland seen a substantial increase in population over the last 40 or 50 years. But we have lost our services because of the car and people have become isolated because they do not feel safe to walk outside their own gate. People no longer stop on the road to talk to their neighbors, instead they flash the lights at their neighbors cars as they fly by and meet each other once a year telling each other that they need to do this more often. There is nothing more anti-social and anti community than everybody being stuck in their own personal metal box, leaving home at 7 AM to commute to a distant workplace to arrive home tired and spent at 7 PM. This so-called divide between urban and rural Ireland is a total myth, yes there is a real divide, but it is between community focused truly urban and truly rural Ireland and car dependent exurban Ireland. In the inner cities and towns as well as still genuinely rural areas where people still live and work in their community people still meet their neighbors on the road or street, in the outer suburbs and the exurban commuter …
