Turkey and Pakistan have agreed to deploy troops to save Saudi Arabia from Yemen. A very poor choice, particularly given Israel's threats against Turkey and that without Saudi Arabia under US/Israeli control, Israel will be totally fucked.

THe NI Parades Commission has made a catastrophic error in judgement in allowing the Orange Order to parade down the Garvaghy Road. Having had the High Court quash their previous determination regarding the parade, they have now reversed almost 30 years of consistency and created a major crisis.

DUP leader Gavin Robinson has been holding a press conference.

He insists the Orange Order who had gathered at Drumcree Church at 8am for the controversial parade can wait hours, days, and months to march down Garvaghy Road.

“If it takes another 28 hours, if it takes another 28 days they will show the same steadfast determination and patience and a willingness to uphold the law that’s been there for the last 28 years,” Robinson told reporters in Belfast.

The original partitioning of Ireland came under threat of renewed and brutal war from the British government, so Sinn Féin's agreeing to it was done under duress. It would not be allowed today. SF won the Irish section of the Westminster General Election of 1918. NI is illegitimate.
