It's Trans Day of Remembrance. They won't ever be able to get rid of us, no matter what. No amount of hateful legislation can change the fact of our existence.

Digital painting of a knight in armour carrying a shield im trans pride colours. There is a heraldry unicorn with a bloody horn rearing up on it. Above the words Resist Rejoyce Remember. A decorative border shows dandelions.

Nostalgia is a toxic impulse but also I miss the time when tech trends were things like "let's put everything in a translucent colored plastic case" instead of "let's add software to everything that lies and also accelerates climate change"

A variety of electronics from the late 90s to early 00s with translucent colored plastic cases

As a life long Ph0tosh0p Hater im actually surprised how much fun im suddenly having with Affinity Photo. Despite it still having a few hiccups, which wouldve normally have driven me up the wall if this was an Ad0be product.

I've noticed that a lot of art commissioners tend to hesitate when it comes to asking for changes and it makes me sad. If these requests are reasonable I'm always more than happy to do these changes! We artists are not psychics so we don't always get it right immediately and that's ok.

Thinking about Bartosch and Erik… and how Bartosch might have found Erik being dead set on following Henry to Suchdol, heavily injured from the fight but still driven by revenge. Bartosch sees him almost falling of his horse, decides to stop and talk some sense into him.

Reminder that bsky cannot compete w "numbers" on Xitter, bc it's newer (and less bot infested). We're small. So artists will never be incentivised to hang out on bsky by numbers - Likes and Reskeets. What bsky can offer is *human connection*. Community. Enthusiasm. Quality over quantity. Comments!!
