good advertising does wonders. i really think metroid is going to land itself somewhere great in the leadup and aftermath of ravenous. comparing the one ravenous trailer with all of prime 4's advertising and the reception to it is a wild sight

Metroid Dread is now #1 on the Switch eShop (US). I can't recall another time it reached to the top of the charts in the last 4 years.

i've seen a lot of posts being like actually mean spirited about people who think the oot remake looks good. nobody actually cares what anyone thinks but when something's opinionated it has to be an absolute FIGHT to prove that your viewpoint is the right one and it just fuckin blows dude

im so excited about the direction videogames are going in!!!

artistic depiction of the new wolverine, crudely photoshopped elements of hugh jackman wolverine standing in the foreground in a field, a wolf howling in the distance, and a scent trail, many flashing red lights, a sound wave, and a quest marker all guiding wolverine to the wolf. wolverine is also receiving comms from james marsden cyclops in the top right offering him hints. there is a bright lens flar covering most of the scene

They still do, at least Nintendo of America does. If you watch a UK Nintendo Direct you'll see that they just say "game" instead of "the [game] game" like in the US. Which means that they make the narrator record two versions of the same line every time he mentions the name of a Nintendo game.

just a reminder; do not let your opinion be swayed by biased critics, we went through this with the fnaf movies, unfairly bashed by stuck up critics, think for yourself and relish in the whimsy <3

the slow crawl of a youtube channel moving from talking about things they love and are passionate about to purely talking about things they despise because it gets more clicks genuinely makes me really sad

it's not even funny how erect the metroid ravenous trailer is. just nonstop full chub action for like two straight minutes of the coolest animation you've ever seen. they had to all be rock solid in the studio making this game

how stupid do you have to be to trap Samus Aran on a moon or planet or space station to try and kill her "I bet it will be easier now that she's part Metroid" - idiots

samus hitting a rider kick with the black and white impact frame might be one of the most sexually charged things theyve shown in a nintendo direct

Pretty good Direct. The moment of silence for Charlie Kirk was a bit weird, but other than that I can't complain.
