I don't like the saying "boys will be boys" cuz what rot in our society has cemented the expectations of boys to be violent, misogynistic rapists? What message does that send to little boys? It comes from the adults. Little boys are great. Give them something better to strive for. They deserve it

And just like that, therapy is finished…. for now. I do want to continue therapy but I’m going to take a short break until around new year, then try to find someone else to help me continue to be the best possible version of myself. Another queer therapist would be a bonus too 👌 🏳️‍🌈

Today’s my last day of therapy and I’m pretty sad about it. I never love the process of trying to find a therapist that I think is an appropriate fit, my therapist specializes in my particular disorder that I can’t expect from just anyone. I’ve been with her for 3ish years. Gonna miss her a lot.
