Designers should be more container query aware. it's a team responsibility for devs and design together. The "I can't do that in Figma" should not be a blocker. "Design component based", learn basic capabilities such as length units available in the browser. Know the medium you design for. #webexpo

Ow yeah! 😎 FYI: you can start using customizable select *TODAY* because it is the perfect progressive enhancement: in browser with no support you get the status quo which is just a regular select (which you can also style up to a certain extent).

I said 36 positions, but in reality, they are even more because within each position, we can control the alignment of the element using justify-self and align-self. 36 positions, 2 axes, 4 alignment values per axis. I let you do the count! 🫣
