Hear us Now! at the 15th annual March for Choice, this September 26th in Dublin. Meet us at 2pm outside the Department of Health before we march to the Dáil. Share this post far and wide and show your interest by clicking "interested" on our facebook event page, link in our tree.
Square illustrated image split into 4 horizontal sections. The is a collaged image, two figures in the centre in teal and pale purple. Their eyes and mouths are from different people and are much larger, and jump off the faces. They are saying "Hear us Now!" in black and white ransom style font. The backgrounds of these are cone shaped speech bubbles, they are both patterned with interlocking points in shades of teal, purple and yellow. The ARC logo is to the right of the two figures in the centre.
The next section says "15th annual March for Choice" in white font outlined in black, with a similar pattern to the speech bubble behind it.
The next horizontal says "Saturday September 26th 2026" in black against a see-through white rectangle, that you can see the pattern through.
The last section is a teal rectangle with rounded ends and says "When: 2pm, Where: Dept of Health Lower Baggot Street"

8 years after Repeal, those seeking abortion in Ireland are still subject to an unnecessary 3 day waiting period, an unworkable 12 week cut off, and a lack of providers throughout the country. If that doesn't sound very much like Repeal to you, join the march in Dublin this Saturday!

With a week to go, we need your help! Spread the word about the march next Saturday: tell your friends, contact the people you campaigned with 8 years ago, make a placard or dig out your vuvuzela. We need as many people as possible to come along and make some noise! Can we count on you?

The vote to remove the 3 day waiting period is tonight. Ask your TDs to support this bill. According to some in the debate last night, this is not an issue important to the electorate. Prove them wrong. Sample text, and full contact details in linktree and below
ALT: Image shows a large white speech bubble in the centre outlined with purple and teal. Above it it says “3 day waiting period” Below it “Too Many Barriers, ARC and Lorraine Grimes, PhD.” With the ARC logo in the bottom right hand corner, and the text "“It caused more stress and was rather demeaning for me and my partner as we already considered our decision extensively before initiating the process” within the bubble.

Thank you, Jennifer, for being honest about the pain women have to go through because of the current Irish laws. This country voted overwhelmingly to allow abortion. Politicians brought these stupid rules in. Let women make their own goddammit minds up about what's best for them. #SpéirGhorm

People who fought for Repeal would be stunned to see the approach Sinn Féin are taking to abortion reform and our legislation, the Reproductive Rights (Amendment) Bill. It's appalling to see a self-proclaimed progressive party turn heel on progressing women's healthcare.

In 2018, Ireland voted to move abortion out of the Constitution and into the hands of legislators. In 2023, the Marie O'Shea Report made recommendations for improving abortion care. Today, we introduced a Bill that will take recommendations and bring essential abortion services up to standard.
