The Gulf of Maine is warming faster than any other area of The Atlantic Ocean: industrial waste and agricultural run-off enhance the impacts of rapid global warming on surface water temperatures (i.e. shallow depth & current location issue)…

The Great Salt Lake of Utah continues to evaporate (i.e. 74% of water lost since 1980s): the toxic chemicals in the exposed sediment (e.g. mercury, arsenic from industrial waste, etc.) are eradicating the wetlands biodiversity via dust particles…

Composite fermions (i.e. subatomic particles of matter) experience a phase of spherical structure expansion: these data provide insights into the topological arrangement of subatomic particles (i.e. progenitor and movement of atomic energy in the known-Universe)…

The known-Universe does not implode and collapse because of the relationship between gravity and Dark Energy: without this equilibrium, expansion would have been impossible. New galaxies form all the time and so infinite space accommodates the interactions of Dark Energy and gravity...

American Kestrel (Falco sparverius) male for #BirdoftheDay theme #BlueSkies. #birds #Florida
A horizontal image of a male American Kestrel standing on the right of a large pine branch with body facing left, back and tail towards viewer and head looking back in profile. The smallest falcon in North American, but arguably one of the prettiest, the kestrel has a slate blue cap and wings and two black slashes on the face, one on each side is coming down to the shoulder from the dark eyes. What can be seen of the breast and underside are white with some black spots. There is slate blue on the wing and warm rusty color on the back, accented with black spots and crescents. The tail is in shadow and dark. The bird has bright yellow/orange lores and feet. The background sky, above and below the branch, is clear blue.
