Something seems a bit off in this chart from a Pima County memo about the results of a survey about the Chuck Huckleberry Loop. content.civicplus.com/api/assets/a...
Donut chart labeled “Graphic 1. Distribution of Modes of Loop Utilization.” It shows the percentage of respondents who selected different modes of transportation. Nearly 82% responded “Cycling” and more than 58% responded “Walking”. The percentages in the chart labels add up to more than 100%.

One dimension of the active resistance around the Delaney Hall immigration detention facility is that so many of the people detained there are from the region around the facility. This table is from @austinkocher.com's analysis of data describing people detained at that facility.
Table showing the number of people detained at the Delaney Hall immigration detention facility by state and facility where they were first booked into detention. It shows that 81.5% of people detained at Delaney Hall were first booked into a facility in New Jersey, including 69.6% first booked into Delaney Hall. Another 15.2% were first booked in at New York facilities.

One of my biggest takeaways from reporting this story was how much media reports in the aftermath of police shootings, in particular with the police union spokesperson putting forward a narrative of an incident, were then used as key pieces of evidence for a future investigation.
