Trying to get more creative with colored backgrounds and composition as a means to get back into the flow of things. Stepping away from "drawing with effort" for a while has made things less fun for me and this feels like a step in the right direction.

Weekend Plans - Gator Days

Nate, Iris, and August are on their lunch break and discussing weekend plans. It's very important to mention that Nate is enjoying a grilled cheese sandwich that has grown cold. Iris has a questionable substance for her own lunch. She is filled with regrets at the moment.

Nate: Y'all got weekend plans? I'm going to a concert.

Iris: Wine tasting and a dinner party.

August is smiling because he knows he has both the superior lunch and plans. He's eating a pepperoni pizza that's dripping with cheese. Truthfully, it's not the best pizza out there but pizza is still pizza and beats out many other lunches by default. Yes, I have put far too much thought into what everyone is having for lunch.

August: I'll be playing video games and watching cartoons with my son.
