Important new report from [Action on Smoking and Health (ASH)](ash.org.uk?utm_source=c...) citing our work. Evidence shows stopping smoking improves mental health and support can be embedded into NHS Talking Therapies. Now we need policy change and smoking cessation recognised as a key outcome. 🧠🚭

The involvement of patients and the public is important in public health research. We are holding a free webinar on 4th March, 7pm to share a bit about our research and how the public can get involved. Do join us! shop.bris.ac.uk/conferences-...
Flyer with the text:
Could you help us improve health research?

At University of Bristol we look at patterns in health data across large populations. These patterns can help us uncover what might make people more at risk of health issues such as cancer, poor mental health, heart disease, diabetes and pregnancy problems.

But we need people like you to help us!

Involving patients and members of the public is an important part of health research. Members of the public provide important feedback on research plans. They help keep research relevant to what worries you. They also help us to communicate research findings in a way that the public can understand.

Come and find out more!
