I don't know Jacob Geller but I don't think it's fucked up that he's been ostracized. The whole awful situation reminds me of a time 10+ years ago when the past behavior of a noted editor in comics media was outed for bad behavior. I thought of him as a good friend... until that moment.

I didn't realize The Darkness never got a proper PC release. It's a shame the LLM coding support came from OpenAI's tech - surely there are better options - but, as always, glad to see it flagged in the reporting.

The marketing for this game is so stupendously, unbelievably on brand for Hellraiser. Wild to see an IP adaptation like this seem to "get it" from even before the jump. I hope the game delivers. The people bringing it to us definitely understand the assignment.

It's 3:30am and I'm wide awake because 74 degrees is simply too hot for sleeping in a closed room with two dogs. Also, this is what the bed looked like when I got back from turning the air on. I don't think I'm welcome here.

Two fluffy black dogs lying across a queen-sized bed in such a way that no human could confortably sleep in it with them.

This feels like some misplaced wishful thinking to me. In fairness, I'm already no great fan of Warhorse due to the creative director's history with GamerGate. But I also really don't think you can look at success for ***GTA6*** as the market validating of the $80 price point.

Excitement on the skyline for a NYC-local (fine, semi-local) Phish weekend is as muted as I've ever seen it. It's a bit strange given the stellar playing they brought to most every show this past summer. But shit economy + premium-priced tickets is some miserable math.

That NYT article on Asha Sharma is SO WEIRD. Like yeah, it roundly sucks for the way it sanitizes her/Xbox's image. But then there are also mini-jabs like this that, in the context of a truly hard-hitting piece of reporting, would read as sharp and cutting.

“In life there is only winning and learning,” Sharma said in her office, manipulating a NeeDoh stress ball and producing one of her Confucian managerial maxims. “I’m learning every single day.”

It's wild to watch how these plants change as flowering takes hold and pushes nutrients into the buds. One puzzling thing I've noticed lately is that the leaves on the front-right and back-left plants are becoming smaller and thinner whereas the leaves on the other two haven't changed all that much.
