Although I've truly had a great time with Fortnite over the past seven years and it's one of the few games my wife and friends play regularly together, I can't support this stance. Truly a shame and I hope they eventually reverse it.

It's a little hazy, but it was at Blockbuster and I think they had Die Hard Trilogy or Jumping Flash on display. I wasn't impressed at the time, probably because I knew Ultra 64 was coming! Soon after, my friend rented a PS with Loaded, Twisted Metal, and Battle Arena, and I warmed up a lot more.

I absolutely loved Xband on SNES and was crushed when it became unusable in my area due to phone switching from 7 to 10 digits and Xband not updating how other players were dialed. Played a ton of SSF2 and Mario Kart on it.

Slowly going through my Steam library and sorting out what I actually want to play. Tonight was 20 Minutes to Dawn, a "heaven shooter" that I believe predates Vampire Survivors. It's... okay. Definitely no Vampire Survivors. Also a tad boring. So, maybe not okay. Little slow, weapons kinda bland.

The Wii/DS era of Nintendo was my favorite Nintendo Era. Nintendo was taking risks and everyone was making weird games that weren't on the other consoles. I miss the individuality that the Wii had.

I'm almost positive that I picked up my N64 and Mario 64 thirty years ago yesterday. Saving up for months and buying it a few days before the official release date was one of the most thrilling video game purchases of my life.

Book marking this thread because I always want to hear about golf games. Super Video Golf on steam is great, but I'll also vouch for Pangya on PSP. Easy Come, Easy Golf is pretty good, but I hate the "team" mechanic of having to switch to a different character every hole.

I've been low-key obsessed w/ The New Tetris this week. It's not a great Tetris. It's incredibly slow, has floaty controls, and the stage/music unlocks come through at a snail's pace - but the "square" mechanic that, as far as I know, is unique to this game is fantastic and changes the way you play.
