I'm very conflicted about the exterior of the Jag Type 01. There are parts that I think are really cool and interesting (like rear and rear three-quarter angles, and there are parts that really bug me (I don't think the extra length for the rear doors helped).

I think the thing I love about that version even more is it's not a touch screen - there are infrared emitters/receivers (visible as bumps) arrayed across the edges of the screen, and 'buttons' were placed in specific locations so that 'touching' them broke the beams in an X/Y coordinate.

Wrestling with the idea of seriously considering jobs that aren't car journalism. Car adjacent, still, because I don't know that I'd be any good at much else, but still. Better pay, stability, and insurance are sounding really good. But it's really, REALLY hard to imagine not doing what I do.

Shake paws with danger. In his old age, Rusty sometimes kinda just lands where he lands, and I’m now having to doublecheck behind me when I’m at my desk that I don’t roll onto his paws or tail.

So I have a bit of a question for UK/Ireland folks. I was watching a Let’s Play of Silent Hill Townfall, which takes place in Ireland in the late ‘90s. One of the early puzzles really surprised me because it had to do with getting a pre-paid card to turn a houses power back on. That was a thing?
