I don't do numbers on social media. This will likely go out to MAYBE 100-200 people. Maybe less if I get Zuck'd. Maybe less if people prefer to disconnect from reality.I left most social media because it felt unproductive and made me feel disconnected from my community. I started this channel to connect my art to people and to grow as an artist.The reason I left most social media was because it was causing me distress. I was no longer being informed, but being gaslit. For my well being and to care for my family, I had stepped away.Occasionally I would hop on a specific newer alternative social media to read what was going on, but early on I left X and F B because it made me feel awful and the opposite of part of my community.Instead I have focused local and tried to be the change I wanted to see in the world on that level in my very diverse city and neighborhood.Sharing my art online was going to be my escape from the pain and terror that my community dealt with daily. The real threats to life are lived around me constantly and without reprise.But they done fucked up my joy of art!If this goes out to only a few people, that's fine. If I lose followers. That's fine. But I can't be silent here anymore if it reaches even one set of ears. #artistsuniteagainstice #toymaker #sculptor #painter
