Hi @johnmu.com, could I pass along some feedback to the GSC team? Screenshot of compare filter: Branded vs non-branded. There are several cases that are not mutually exclusive, which they should.

A short PSA: => SEOs, dont believe everything you see on your browser, Bots can see things you dont! Reddit robots.txt is a prime example of it: - On a browser, all disallowed. SEOs are panicking! +For a search bot (like google), oh magic it is a properly optimised robots.txt

Doing very little, over the years, i got to have 5k followers on linkedin! This number really baffles me, as I have never done much to actually grow it

Yesterday I posted on linkedin, and it was doing normal numbers until a like (JUST A LIKE) from the very best @lilyray.nyc made it skyrocket. First time seeing this happen first hand, Im mind blown! I got at least 50 connection requests, how insane is the power of just one like!

I had an amazing time at #generateSummit! It seems like B2B people are not used to being shown what is a good way of doing Seo as someone msged saying my take about *the basics of Seo* was a refreshing take!

Hi @johnmu.com, im hoping you can help me clear out a question about impressions on GSC: AIO and traditional search In this screenshot, the same page is shown twice, is that two impressions? Im asking because in GSC AI impressions for that url are higher than the traditional search

So much complaining about europe vs americas in the FIFA world cup, we latinos have always had at least one team in the quarter finals in the last 10 world cups And there were on average more EU teams every single time. How whiny they are!

One of the few silliest things that bring me a lot of joy is the redirection of googlebot.com to its documentation. Since I discovered that years ago, I cannot get to that documentation any other way

I came across the Cloudflare Radar data explorer shared by the amazing @tamethebots.com Oh, what a beauty to see these numbers about much much each web crawler is doing in the web. The dominance of Google should not be as much disputed as it currently is with all the LLMs growth. link in reply

Hey Jamie @not-a-robot.com, in case nobody reported it, the profile pic on your newsletter is not you It might make sense to either add your profile pic or just not a person. It is a bit confusing, at least for me that I subscribed to the newlestter because you were behind it.

last SCL I asked if there would be any backfilling on GSC data for branded/non-branded traffic. The answer is nop. Most people got all the data back to October, others like me data from Feb :(

Here are three of my takes from this event: - Dont believe everything that is out there (LLMs.txt dont matter for search, AI SEO is and isnt SEO, and all that), there is a lot of overlap between search and AI systems

So ads are part of WhatsApp now. I don't like it I foresee a world where you have to pay a subscription or watch an ad every time you open the app, or like podcasts and add in the middle of a voice message

Shit, this is quite an interesting door for manipulation, I'm very curious and concerned in how they'll internally manage the high inflow of spammy requests. developers.google.com/search/help/... Kudos to the awesome @tamethebots.com that shared it in the interwebs and I was lucky to see it

The way you structure the *new content* is relevant and there is a patent for it They found out about the patent after they were doing it that way! What a great coincidence!

Building the entities and things in the background pays off Like changing the clasification of the rich result as "gambling company" Association of Kleenex and tissues

If you know a page will be noindexed/removed, make bots life easier by saving them a crawl to see it's removed Unavailable_after is better than noindex

Even if google says they don't use sitemap attributes, they actually do. As long as you use them correctly.
